Welcome to Katinka Kids!

My name is Katarína and I am the founder and CEO of our brand Katinka and Katinka Kids. 

I started the brand Katinka, as my childhood dream of becoming a globally known fashion designer. Yet I abonded that idea due to my lack of self belief in my teenage years and I followed a safer path of becoming a sales manager instead for various companies. Completely unsatisfied and unfulfilled I was constantly dreaming of creating products for women thanks to which they would feel more confident, more beautiful. 

It was a path of daily yoga practice and meditation in my 30's that got me 100% committed to my childhood dream and I started producing premium yoga wear for my friends and family. I was so obsessed with it, that I decided to start designing also handbags for women, as it allowed me to be more creative. This is is how the brand Katinka started.

And how did Katinka Kids start?

With my (sometimes) overly critical view, I realised later, that I could not find one single backpack for kids that I would really like. I wanted to see backpacks for kids that would brighten their days, that would be original, kind of like their companion on their daily adventures. I wanted to see backpacks for kids that even parents would proudly wear them. Something that would be beautiful and high quality. So I dove into the whole designing and manufacturing process. And Katinka KIds was born. 

Now we are selling all over Europe and we are looking forward to what future brings for us!
